Who we are

Stafford Champions are prominent or respected people who live or work or come from Stafford, who act as unpaid volunteers to promote the interests of the borough they’re so proud of.

This activity is carried out alongside their normal occupation and usually takes advantage of their natural contact with other people.

There is no 'snobbery' involved, so a Stafford Champion might be from any walk of life, but what they have in common is the opportunity to meet influential people, and the commitment to represent Stafford in a positive way. But the role can certainly attract respect and afford status to the individual.
